Who is responsible for your data

The personal data collected on kidream.co is processed by Kidream. For any question about your data, contact us at: contact@kidream.com

    Data we collect

We collect the data you give us when you place an order, contact us or sign up to our emails (name, delivery and billing address, email address and, if you provide it, phone number), as well as browsing data collected automatically (pages viewed, device, browser, IP address and traffic source) through cookies and similar technologies. Card payments are handled by our payment providers: we never see or store your full card number.

    Why we use it

Your data is used to: process and deliver your orders; keep you updated on your delivery; handle exchanges and returns; reply to your requests; send you our newsletter and offers, if you have signed up (you can unsubscribe at any time); measure the audience of the store and improve our content; run and measure our advertising campaigns; and prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

    Cookies and advertising

Where you allow it, and where the law permits, we use audience-measurement cookies and advertising cookies, including the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which lets us measure how well our ads work and show you relevant ads. You can accept or refuse these cookies through the cookie banner on your first visit, and change your choice at any time through the privacy preferences link on the store or your browser settings. Where the law requires it, we also treat the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request.

    Who receives your data

Your data is accessible only to the providers strictly needed to run the service: Shopify (which hosts the store), payment providers, shipping and fulfilment partners, email tools, and Meta [and Google] for advertising measurement, where you have allowed cookies. We do not sell your personal information for money. Where you allow advertising cookies, some information may count as "sharing" for targeted advertising under certain US state laws. You can opt out at any time (see "Your rights").

    International transfers

Your data may be processed in the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where the law requires it, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep your data

Order data is kept for as long as needed to perform the contract and meet our legal obligations. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe, or for 3 years after your last contact with us.

    Children

Our pillows are made for children but sold to parents and guardians. Our store is for adults and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.

    Your rights

United Kingdom: under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your data, to receive a copy of it (portability), and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

United States: if you live in a state with a privacy law (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas or Virginia), you can ask to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it deleted or corrected, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can appeal a decision we make on your request, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights. You can also contact your state's Attorney General.

To use any of these rights, write to us at contact@kidream.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will reply within the time required by law (generally one month in the UK and 45 days in most US states).
